During the Business Forum, President Juan Carlos Varela Rodríguez met with Mutar Kent, President CEO of Coca Cola Company before the VII Summit of the America, which will be held on the 10th and 11th of April.
As a result of the meeting, two points were agreed: explore opportunities to establish programs to improve diet and create programs of corporate social responsibility to train young people in social risk.
Kent extended an invitation to President Varela Rodríguez to visit the headquarters of the Coca Cola Company. On his part, the President recognized the importance presence of Coca Cola in Panama, company that in 2016 will be 110 years in the country, and thanked the support of this company for the Special Olympics.
The Secretary of Economy and Finances, Dulcidio De la Guardia; Secretary Advisor, Francisco Sierra; the Ambassador of Panama to Washington, United States, Emanuel González Revilla and Presidential Advisor, Jonattan Del Rosario participated in the meeting.
